Review: Pears Transparent Soap

It took me so long to find an effective but affordable soap to treat my acne and pimples away so thanks to my mom’s friend who is a heaven sent for giving us Pear Transparent Soap. I really want to get my clear skin back!! I used to receive compliments from my classmates for having such a clear skin, but due to puberty and to my growing interest in make up, my face became rough each passing day. When I’m bored, I always put make up on my face and sometimes I’m too lazy to wash it off. Surely, that is one of the factors why my face is in a situation like this.
I do not own this picture. Just got it from Google so credits to the owner ^__^

So I tried my very best to make that irritating pimples go away so I used ‘the banana peel method’. But let us all admit that it is quite difficult to have a supply of bananas everyday, so it is useless because I’m not doing it in a continuous basis.

Uhm, enough blabbering and let’s go back to Pear Transparent Soap.
To be honest with you guys, I have no plan to review this product  because I am not expecting it to be this effective.  Why? I don’t even heard of this product yet and I don’t understand what the box says because it is in other language. In short, I’m not interested in this product. But because I really love reading reviews from others, I searched some reviews about this soap before I use it. Many have said that this is very effective and could you imagine that this soap is 200 years older than me? Yeah! You've read it right!!

K, let's start with the review. I always wash my face using this soap about thrice a day when laziness don't strikes. Hehehe. One of my skin problem is my oily face. I don't know if you already feel it, but do you know that feeling when you woke up in the morning and then you touch your face and it is VERY GREASY??!! I hate it! But this soap really tightens up my skin so the oiliness of my face also reduced. Also, look how my pimples disappeared right after using this soap for 1 week, 2 washes a day :)

No edit included, same place, same lightning and same time.
It can also be used as make up remover. Still remember when I put heavy eye make up, it removes my make up COMPLETELY! Nothing more, nothing less!

There is nothing to hate about this product except for its smell. I dunno but I don't like the smell of it. Yeah, it smells like a pear but not the fruity scent that is pleasant to the nose, if you know what I mean?? Can't explain. All I can say is that I DON'T LIKE THE SMELL!. Ahhh!  But I can still manage to put it on my face despite of its smell and as time passed by, you will get over with it ^___^

♥PROS♥

* Affordable
* Good in tightening skin
* Removes make up without rubbing your face too hard
* Great in removing pimples

♥CONS♥

* The smell is not pleasant to the nose.
* NOT AVAILABLE in all countries

Yes, I will buy Pear Transparent Soap after finishing off all the pear soap we have here. The only problem is, I don't know where to purchase it. =((  But yeah, I will recommend this product to everyone!! Just try it, and and enjoy your clear and radiant skin right away!! ^__^

RATING: ♥♥♥♥ 4/5

So I am rating this product as 4 out of 5. Minus 1 point for its smell.

Review: Maybelline Great Lash Big Mascara

Hello everyone! So this is my first ever review, but still, I will try my very best to present an honest and accurate review for everyone! I will review this great mascara that my aunt gave me months ago. As the matter of fact, I'm not a big fan of wearing mascara because it makes my big eyes appear bigger which I really hate. But since ulzzang is really popular nowadays, wherein their eyes are really big, I started to appreciate this product and started using this mascara to make my eyes brighter and less sleepy.
WAAAHH! I fell in love with the color if this mascara's container, apple green and pink ♥_♥ As I compare it to my other mascaras, its container is small.  But hey! Don't judge the mascara by its container. It has bigger brush that will surely extend your eye lashes. Plus, it is very easy to bring with you during travels because it is really a space saver!!

Notice how the brush bristles are really thick. Asians have thin and straight natural eyelashes so this one is a great product for every Asian out there because it really emphasize and extend your lashes to the fullest! I'm just really happy that I can apply this mascara without making any mess around my eyes. I dunno but I find it easier to apply than other mascaras that I used.

As you can see, I have a thin and unnoticeable lashes, looks like I have no lashes at all. Oh well, thanks to the inventor of mascara!! Enough blabbering so here are some shots after I apply this great lash big mascara!

I really love how this mascara did a good job in extending and thickening my lashes. It is like a false lashes in a bottle!! Oh, How I wish my photos gave some justice in this product. Hahaha. It's just my camera produces bad quality of photos. How sad :(( I think I should start saving up and buy a new camera. But I swear, it looks better in person than here. This mascara dries so fast that I'm not worried if I accidentally open my eyes after applying it because it is already dry so this is my on-the-go mascara. The one I am wearing when I'm in a hurry!!
But it is really hard to remove thoroughly. I already used cotton swabs and wash it with lots of water but it is still there. Though it is already gone in your lashes, you'll notice that there are still around your eyes that looks like super eye bags :( One more thing I hate about this product is that, it smudge easily so I always have panda eyes  O__o

♥PROS♥

* it is a space saver
* dries up quickly
* good in extending and thickening your eye lashes
* very easy to apply
* thick brush bristles

♥CONS♥

* it smudge easily
* hard to remove
* always give me panda eyes

These are my opinions based on my experiences on this product so it may vary to everyone because we all have our own preferences! Overall, I still recommend this mascara to everyone especially to Asians. But this is not for you if you have a habit of rubbing your eyes because it will smudge that will result into panda eyes.

RATING: ♥♥♥ 3/5

How to grow your blog?

Hi too all girls (and boys?)! A blogger asked me "Can you give me some tips to make my blog grows?"  and think that it is a great idea to blog about. I decided to share some techniques of mine that I used and keep using, in order to enhance my blog. For everyones information, I used to be a blogger from tumblr for almost a year and decided to move here. I know I am not a famous blogger. There are lots of things I still need to learn and what I’m knowing is not even half of what I should know. But yeah! Here are some tips based on my own
experience.

1. Blog regularly

This is the most important above all!  I think this is the hardest part of being a blogger. Make sure that your blog is alive and not boring! It will make your readers stop visiting your blog, if ever you’re not updating it! Create a schedule. Update your blog everyday. This will bring a bigger chance for your blog to be discovered. But if you’re really busy, MWF is enough. Just remember, if blogging is really your passion, no matter how busy you are, you will find a way just to update your blog. If ever you will be on a hiatus, make sure that your readers know it so they will not visit your blog and get disappointed.

2. Pay attention to the content.

Quality over quantity. Make sure that the content of your posts have sense. Double check if there are any wrong grammars, spellings, or such. This is the best tip if you’re looking for blog sponsors. Sponsors are sponsoring blogs that have a great quality. They don’t want to risk their product!
Actually, I know some bloggers who are spending days and weeks just to blog about a certain thing. They are making sure that what they are blogging have sense and quality. I am not that type of blogger. It’s not my cup of tea. But I once experienced this, I almost spent weeks just to complete a certain post and realized that it is better than my past blogging habits. More people appreciated it than my past posts without quality. Then the day after that day, I told to myself that I will blog with a quality!!

3. Blog Design

I will give you these tip without any hesitation. Blog Layout really matters. Give your blog a unique look. When a person accidentally visits your blog, the layout will be the first impression. This only shows how much effort you are exerting in your blog. Make your font size and pictures big. I know, I am not the only one who feel like this. Other readers feel the same way as I did. I really hate reading blogs that have small fonts. Though the content is nice, I really find it hard to read so I’ll just leave instead.  I also noticed that I attracted more reader when I made my photos bigger! Just always remember that DON’T OVER-DECORATE YOUR BLOG.. PLEASE!!

4. Promote your works

Every blogger have social networks.. Okay let’s forget about bloggers. ALL OF US have social networks, right? Instead of broadcasting what you eat, what are you thinking etc., let’s make it more productive.You can update your readers that you have a new post. It is really effective to attract new readers!

Hope you find these tips useful. I know that you also have your own technique to grow your blog so would you mind if you’ll share it?? =DI want to change my blog’s layout so if you know a good design or if you’re willing to make me one (hehehe) contact me please. My so-called Room Tour

Here's a little room tour of my room since it was clean today! You can see how obsess I am to color pink.
imageimageimageThis area is where I hang up my on-the-go bags. Beside it are my belts.
imageThis is my right side table where I put my doll, named Shiela. My mom gave it to me when I was about 5 years old. Minnie Mouse is also a gift from my auntie. Those bags inside the table are my school bags. Since it is vacation, I placed it right there because I have no plan to use it this summer.
imageimageThose are glasses organizer which I made myself. I don't know if this idea already exist on the net, but still, I'll tell you how I made it. It is just a card board that I covered with pink colored paper to match my room. Glue the ribbon on the card board. Afterwards, place it on your wall and hang up your glasses! imageThis is my left side table where I put my stuff toys.. AGAIN! Those stuff toys are gifts from my father, mother and friends!!
imageThis is my shoe rack. I decided to make the top of it to be my photo corner where I put a lot of pictures since I was a kid!
imageI wish I could show you my closet, but it's messy! Maybe next time??

Hope this room tour inspired you to organize and clean your room! :))

Outfit Post: Hello

Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I posted an outfit post here in my blog. This is what I wore during our acoustic band's performance last week. An inspired outfit by Aria Clemente.
 The summer heat in the Philippines is VERY UNBEARABLE, so I decided to wear a skater skirt and a crop top that I am comfortable to wear.
imageimageimageimage
Don't dare to ask me if I am tall or short because it is pretty obvious. Good thing, heels are invented. lol
image
For everyone's information, eventhough I have nowhere to go, I love dressing up especially when I am bored. That means, the more boredom, the more outfit post will be uploaded. Sorry about the low quality. The battery is nearly empty so I was in a rush to take all of these shots.
As you can see, photos in my blog are now bigger than usual. I've been trying to solve this matter for days and I only discovered the answer just a while ago. Also, thank you Viana for your advice on how to fix it.  ( http://vianarifique.tumblr.com )

How's your vacation everyone?? Mine sounds boring because all I can do is read blogs, write blogs, read blogs, write blogs. Hahahaha. But I really do have fun because I love what I'm doing.
Actually, I already finished this post but my cousin asked me to curl her hair so I left the computer without saving it. Then my brother accidentally exit the browser and I need to type it, all over AGAIN!! Anyway, I hope you're having a nice vacation. Take care and God bless everyone!

My mom came home from the market  with this cute fabric. I am so excited to make a diy project and I decided to make this fabric bow bracelet. It is so cute, very girly and very easy to make!

1. Cut a rectangular shape of fabric, then follow the steps below on how you will fold it. It will be easy for you if you use needle to secure it.image
2.Cut the fabric by following the pattern shown in the picture. It doesn't need to be perfect. Just make sure that it fits on your wrist.image
3. Fold the middle by pinching it with your two fingers. Secure it by a thread. Cut a small piece of fabric, enough to cover the thread in the middle.image
 4. Put a fabric snap on both ends of your bow.image
WE'RE DONE!!

Hair and Make Up Competition (School Based)

There was a hair and make up contest in our school last friday. Since styling other people is my hobby, I joined. I already know how much fun it will bring especially when you’re model is your dearest friend who named Angelica Bautista.
image                                                *u* Pretty Pretty already!!
This is my first time to join such contest and I’M REALLY NERVOUS. My hands and knees keep shaking! Plus the fact that there are lots of students that are really good when it comes to make up than me, I admit. image
                    Me styling my model’s hair (Yeah I know, such a lame caption)
When I’m styling her hair, I really had a hard time because her hair is so silky and smooth. No matter how many hairspray I already put on her hair, it keeps on falling. I was about to cry (seriously) as others are already done to their model’s hair and I’m still doing her hair all over again and again. Ahhh.
image
In fact, I already tried the look that I will do to Angelica a few days back before the event, but only to myself. We’re both busy so we don’t have time to be together and for me to practice on her face. That’s why I’m not quite sure if it will suits her. Still, I’m happy because it looks good in her. But I have this regrets "Why did I forgot to capture her make up with her eyes closed?" because it is really fantastic that even me, still can’t believe that I can do such make up like that. My schoolmates keep telling me "How did you do that?" and "Wow! You’re really good in blending". Okay, I’m not bragging! HAHA :P
I think the challenging part of the event is that they held it inside a room that is really hot so she keeps sweating that makes the make up uneven and to smudge sometimes. But you know what? I’m quite proud on what I did to her hair. =)) What do you think?? image
                                           TADAAAA! My model’s complete look.
Sorry for my very haggard face (-____-).The facilitators forgot to tell us that they will take some photos of the contestants with their model. Hahaha. So I pay no mind to my appearance that time and made my model be my priority instead.image
I assure you that it is better if you saw this personally. My camera is quite old and I think I need to replace it? =D I don’t care if I’m gonna lose, what matters most is that I was able to show my talent to everyone. ♥
